"Sir" Bradley (he already has the CBE, a knighthood in the next honours list is a dead cert) should be the guest of honour at the DW as soon as possible. Fake Wiggo sideburns to honour the great man will be a must.

Maybe we could get him to do an inspirational team talk at the GF (assuming we get there and he's available!)? Would be brilliant for our players to hear him talk about the years he's spent in road cycling working towards his goal after having won olympic and world medals and particularly about the mental toughness needed to be a winner. If that doesn't get our pyschologically fragile players in the right zone, nothing will.

Andrew Johns mentioned Bradley Wiggins and his connection too Wigan Warriors on Aussie radio yesterday, he commented on Sam Tomkins being Bradleys son's hero.

Last home game against Saints, I hope the club does everything to make him guest of honour !!!

He did the JJ salute on his 1st presentation but they switched to the crowd just as he did it. He's got to be Sir Bradley Wiggins ASAP and hope the club use the fact he's a Wigan fan to promote our game.

He'll be on the ITV coverage tomorrow getting interviewed in his Wigan shirt, if you like that kind of thing.

Being a cyclist myself this pains me as i am a wire through and through!

I'm not a cycling fan so I'm not going to pretend I am now, but the club should definitely look to milk this for all it's worth especially if he wins gold at the Olympics.

Just been announced on Sky's Super League Backchat that Bradley and his wife are Wigan season ticket holders. No doubt this will annoy lots of other teams' fans!

Definitely need to do something special against Salford or Saints to publicise his support.

Odd really, pleased he's a Wigan fan, but I'd be just as happy if he supported Saints or Wire, just for being known as a rugby league fan.
