Would have been a cracking crowd had all the season ticket holders bought tickets.

| Just take a look at last years Play Off game attadance for a wake up call RL fans dont have the same money Football fans have, it should have been £12 max what ever seat your in with the cheapest tickets at £19 something needs looking at ALL SL clubs regarding price to get in.Im lucky enough that i will attend what ever the price but the game is live on BBC and going to look bad on our sport with a half empty ground.

The South Stand was only available to season ticket holders until 9pm Wednesday morning when it went on general sale. No idea why. I had to give my Season Ticket code over the phone when I bought my ticket on tuesday afternoon and that was what I was told

Presumably because the South is 99.9% ST holders so if they start selling tickets willy nilly there could be ST holders who don't get a seat.

Willy nilly, great term, not used often enough these days IMO

Stereotypes like that are the reason sometimes the game is going nowhere!
Last season at Coventry City it was £25 for an adult to watch that dross and next year they have even announced that they are increasing the price of season tickets!
Rugby League is very good value for money when compared to other sports and its taken for granted the majority of the time. It's the playoff concept which is the problem, not the price of tickets.

I don't think the price is the issue. People just aren't willing to pay for a match that a) is on national tv and b) has already been played 6? times in the last 12 months or so. and will be playing again in a fortnight.

I will never get bored of watching Wigan V saints no matter how many times we play them, people will always find an excuse not to go a game.I will be there tomorrow and at Ethaid in two weeks and at the play offs should we play them.

Whilst I agree that I don't tire of it. I don't get as excited about it as I do when we haven't played them in a while. Knockout rugby helps with the excitement though, and I could quite happily watch us beat them 10 times a season.

| From what I was told tonight by a VERY reliable source.
12,248 or 12,428 tickets sold.
Saints have sold less than 2,000.
However to put a positive slant on it, that means that the attendance will probably beat the 12,893 at last years play off game at the DW.
