im not talking of them shifting fixtures....im talking about the poor foresight thats gone into schedulling.

they knew of a potential clash, but went ahead with heads in the sand as usual.

If we cannot play at home its a disgrace BUT why not look at other options rather than WIDNES like the Reebok [Bolton are away] or some other ground nearer to us than nearer for them!

If Latics win this weekend maybe the PL will allow a change as neither side will be involved in any issues that matter. Must be a resolution to suit us and not SAints IMO a move to Widnes will suit Saints.

Wigan v Saints at Reebok? Only 9 miles to Horwich and Wanderers are playing at Stoke. Make tickets reasonably priced and really push it.

If we can't play at home, take it to Leigh or Warrington. We did alright there in the cup last year...

If i remember rightly we could have played the 2008 play off switch at warrington, but Noble and the team didnt want to because we had never won there before

IMO the Reebok's a great shout. If pushed right and treated almost as a mini final we could easily fill the 28,000 capacity. A game like this deserves a big stage, not a small stadium (no disrespect to Leigh or Widnes). Hell, we should borrow the Ethiad or go to Goodison Park. As previously mentioned, drop the ticket price and they will come...

Play it midweek at home !

There is no clash with the football. BBC are contracted to show a game on Saturday, and Wigan Athletic are not playing on Saturday. If Wigan RLFC cant negotiate a sensible contract with its landlord, then it can quite easily be played at another suitable venue.
