I still don't understand why we have had so many black kits in recent years!

Didn't IL say at the fans forum they're trying to avoid blue kits as they don't sell well?

| No.
He just pointed out that this year's pink kit had sold vastly more than the blue one, which was surprising to quite a few of us who thought that the pink would have put people off and pushed them toward the away top.

The away wasn't the greatest though.

| The council top was naff, even the shade of blue that you get in cars that never sell well was wrong.

Not just that. But A, I would expect the home kit to sell "vastly more" than any away kit anyroad..... and B, The away kit was barely used, so no surprise to me that it didn't sell well. I mean we never saw it again after the June 4th match against Catalan and the fact it went unusued in the away derbies in particular detracted massively from it. It was a waste of time really!
Must say the home kit did grow on me BUT it's not our colours. Cherry & White all the way, stick to it!

Something that narks me a bit with football to be honest.
If you are going to have a home and an away kit (never mind a 3rd kit), the home kit should ONLY be worn for home games, and the away kit be worn for every away game except where a clash is involved.
The default kit for away games should be the away kit, not the alternative to the home kit.

I wouldnt go that far, for example when you play us surely you want to see the cherry and white lining up against the primose and blue? not one of us forced to play in our away kit

But then whats the point in having an away kit if its going to be worn at most 2 or 3 times in a season?

| Just to be awkward, it think that the kits are termed main and alternative by the powers that be. The RFL determine which kits are worn, and it is published on the site, along with the edge kit.
And I hope we return to the cherry and white we are famous for.

What the hells that got to do with it? Because making money is more important than 'tradition' especially when it comes to shirts.
