One of the reasons why its common sense (if you are going to attend all matches anyway) is to buy a season ticket.
Chances are that Wigan will be appearing in more and more Semi Finals & Finals over the coming years, best chance to get priority seats is to have a season ticket, even if you need to buy it on the 3 months debit scheme. It makes such sense.

Think weve sold the seats. The South Terrace is showing ticket numbers 2100+ so id imagine theres a couple of thousand left in there.

Also if you renew a year later early it works out at around £13 per match for a seat in the south. |

Always difficult times for people like me, this. Had to move away from Wigan for work reasons and therefore it wasnt practical to get a season ticket, although I have attended almost half of the home games this year. Would like to get a ticket for the big games like this one obviously but I guess its just a case of fingers crossed that some will be available on Friday or maybe a private seller.
Of course I agree that season ticket holders should have priority but its still difficult for the fans who dont have one but not because they're any less of a fan of the club.
I'm sure it will be a great atmosphere but if demand is as it should be for this game (i.e. through the roof) then surely the RFL will look at more ambitious venues next time. Who cares if theres a few empty seats, more tickets sold = more money for rugby league.
