| The difference though is the amount of fans who don't travel, they buy a season ticket or just walk up to as many games as possible but they never travel.

So what are you saying? Because we get 24k on at home vs Saints then we should be getting the same for every single game?
Do Warrington sell out every week like they do when Wigan are in town?
Get off your high horse you absolute pleb

No, but a club of Wigans size should be selling 6k for a semi, no matter who is the opposition. Pleb?

Play it at Warrington, (apportion the tickets to this seasons attendances) it'll teach those fans who can't be bothered a lesson.
So that would give Wigan 9K and Saints 4K.'"
Yeah Wigan must have got 10k plus when they played an elimination play-off game at widnes.
It can't have been 6k odd anyway or your point about our "home" crowd would be a bit daft wouldn't it.

| In 2009 when Wigan and Saints were in the semis, had the draw been Saints v Wigan the game was scheduled for Warringtons HJ, fact.
And there was a lot of discontent about it then.

| Quote: Pie Eyed "Another problem with HJ though is that one team's fans would have more tickets than the other.
You have a long and a short side of seatin and the same of standing.
Whichever team gets the long, standing side gets more tickets than the other with the long, seated side.
Didn't matter last time out against Catalans, as they didn't bring too many, but for a local derby.....
Still say it's far too small though.'"
IIRC they split it pretty much down the half way line so each set of fans get half of each of the side stands, they did it like that for Stains Huddersfield a few years back but just gave Huddersfield a few less.
Still think W@nkys ground is too small tho.

You'll fit more in the West than you will the East (or vice versa)

Blackpool would be beltin. Just about the right size for a Cc tie between us - think it holds about 17k and dont think we'll sell more than that - fans just dont turn out for the semis in big numbers like they used to.
Blackpool would be a crackin day out if the suns out too, they prob need the cash after being relegated from the premiership and the RFL have links with them already from the NRC unlike the reebok/ anfield or everton where there hasnt been a recent game of RL there and we would need to re-establish links.
Can see it being wire tho and fans being locked out - typical small mind RFL mentality.

They didn't spend any money when they got promoted and they're getting a nice fat cheque from the PL. I'm sure they're fine for cash.
It's a long way to go when there are plenty of closer stadiums that are better.
