I would say he is playing well below his average. Indeed, his showings have been so hit and miss it is hard to fathom what is wrong with him. He has shown elements of being the great player he indisputable is. However, his performances have been to haphazard for mine. |

Johns for me. He made that Knights team of 2001, which was composed of some decent backs but some very average forwards, into a premiership winner side.

Lockyer? Couldn't tackle a Sunday dinner let alone a charging RL player. Terrible in defence. Often caught out when the other team is on the attack.
For me a player discussed as the greatest of all time can defend as well as attack.

Lockyer for me is one of the greatest players I've seen and I cant believe he is still going. |
