You could say that about anything within a stadium though. On Friday there were over a hundred people stood in the corner near the toilets, most of them bladdered and pratting about. I haven't got a problem with this either but if your talking about Health and Safety then there would probably have been a list of issues concerning that corner.

The point though is that it isnt illegal to drink and stand near stairs at a game your endangering your own safety there but a smoke bomb endangers other people's health. If they are seen at Wigan then I hope those using them are banned from the stadium indefinitely it is not something we need in our game. They have the problems with this in football and I dont want some Wigan fans being blamed for starting it in RL.

so flares defiantly are not legal at any sporting ground in the uk,
as for the smoke bombs i guess this comes under the above points, but if not then it is up to the local law enforcement, some clubs may allow it.

The club have asked people not to use any form of smoke bomb or flare within any ground unless already authorised. If anything similar happens at an home game then you can pretty much wave bye bye to the whole thing.

FWIW I don't remember the smoke bomb incident or whatever it was but as far as I'm aware no one was hurt by it. It's an open roof at KR so can't see how it could have done much damage as long as whoever was holding it knew what they were doing with it but then again that could be showing off my complete lack of knowledge of smoke bombs .

the smoke bomb was in the corner, and from where I was, the smoke was actually bowing over the side of the stand. So i don't see any problem with it.

People need to get from up there own bottom on here. Nothing up with adding a bit of atmosphere, rather than the graveyard atmosphere we have most weeks at the DW.
