Have we sacked him then? If we havent and his contract was mutually terminated surely we came to an agreement that was less than his full contract, if so would just this amount come off the cap? After all its not the clubs fault that he got himself in such a mess.

We needed to get rid of him. I think that like you say we should have suspended him but put him up for transfer. That way we give him permission to talk to other clubs if he wanted to and also recoup some of the 100k we paid.

We didn't sack him. He had this season and next season left on his contract. They've been touting him round Australia and said he doesn't want a big wage. Reading between the lines, it wouldn't surprise me if we've paid his contract up for this year.

Sounds about right. I doubt its worth us trying to replace him this year. I'm pretty sure IL said at the start of the year there was some money left on the cap, I doubt it's enough to bring in someone of equal or better quality than Gleeson.
