Yeamans punching is a deliberate attempt to hurt a player. Nobody bar joel knows if he tried knocking yeamans head off. Even if he did its no worse than what yeaman started.

Yeaman might have thrown the first punch but Joel gave as good as he got, you make it sound like everyone was holding him back leaving Yeamo to land punches as he pleased.

Joel was moving away and yeaman cracked him 3 times before he had chance to reply. Even then it wasnt long before players steamed in to break it up.

I always wondered why I liked KR more than FC and the aftermath from this game has finally confirmed it. KR's coach and fans are dignified when they lose!! Then again by the looks so far this season FC are going to have a lot of practise at trying to fix their attitude to losing.

I don't think Joel hit him in the face, but still, if you saw the look on his face before he went in, he had every intention of decking Yeaman. whether or not he intended to hit him high I don't know, but he led with the ball carrying arm, and should be done for intent. 2 Matches for me. Don't know about Sam, didn't see it, but if he ran in and threw a punch then he should get 1 match. T'is against the rules and all that. Joel was pushed 4 times and then punched before he threw one back, I'd like to see anyone walk away from that.
