Well given you watch the under 20's what is your opinion on this? Should he pick Pryce or go for Ainscough or Goulding?
You often used the "do you watch the under 21's" argument least season so given you do, give us the benefit of your opinion as to who of those three he should play .

| O I get it I have just looked at the other site, it was Pryce and he sent Marsh in for 2 tries.

And scored himself. Not brilliant by any means but a fair bit different from the hobbling around doing sod all impression previously given. And no mention of Ian Thornley's performance by the same person so keen to point out Karl's alleged failing.

| I'm not affraid 2 state that the anti Pryce attitude on this board is plain wrong some times!
As far as I'm aware Pryce is a WRLFC player and thus I can't see the point in the constanst bit€hing that goes on against him calling not only his heart but also his talent into question. What purpose do those fans think this will achieve? All it promotes is failure for the player and team in the long run.
If Pryce is selected next week then I for one will be happy for the lad and i'll also cheer him on as well as at the end of the day a top performance from Pryce benefits the team and a win for Wigan makes me happy.
Some people would rather us lose and Pryce 2 have a stinker so they can say I told you so!

I disagree. I don't think there is anyone who wants him to fail and I think we all hope he will be a great player for us.

So why do some continue to almost revel in anything that might possibly be negative about the guy, even going so far as to distort facts, or misrepresent situations just to try and back up their belief that he's a waste of time? Surely if a few are going that far, then they can hardly be wanting him to succeed can they?.

Nobody is reveling in it. It's just not surprising whenever something happens with Pryce. Obviously he'll be cheered. It was a minority of (you've been warned before about the use of that word. Take this as your final warning) that were booing him in the first place.

Yes i did go today , pryce put his winger stefan march in for 2 tries. he even scored himself . think that was in the first half hour. It was men agains boys out there.but my previous post is also acurate as regards to pryce. Ian ran well caused them all sorts of problems.as did ocarroll.

| Your negativity regarding Pryce shines through.
Quote: jameswk "well watched the reserves today and pryce was poop . hobbled round for 15 minutes of the first half and in the second half i actualy think he touched the ball once in 40 minutes . get ainscough on the wing. sell pryce to the half way house pub team'"
Forgetting to mention that he played the full 80, scored one try and put Marsh in for two. He touched the ball a few more times than one in the second half, but Wigans ball control in the second half was appalling (Wigan were leading 36 - 0) at half time only scoring two tries in the second half, it was hardly Pryces fault was it? The reason I brought Thornley into the debate (I player I rate highly) is that Pryce created far more than he did yet it's Pryce getting the stick, why?
Remember last week
Quote: jameswk "i watched pryce in the reserves friendly on saturday. he went off injured again . we were stood in a group and the general opinion ( not just mine ) was that he still looked unfit ( hands on hips after a hit up ) walking back into possition. realy looked like he did not want to be there. madge and wane were watching and recording from a scaffold platform. he certainly did not stand out in that game although he did put a nice kick through for someone to score a try off . i saw him put one nice hit in also . He will never make the first team on that performance . He should be tearing the reserve teams apart.'"
When again you conveniently forgot to mention the reason Pryce went off was that he got a smack in the mouth and was bleeding, so by the rules of the game had to go off to get it stitched. You then conveniently forgot to mention McIlorun and Walker went off injured and did not return but Pryce did.
I'm no saying that Pryce was outstanding in either of the games, but giving a balanced view of what actually happened.

Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| Richards to Fullback
Ainscough/Pryce to Wing depending on how Ainscough has gone at Widnes and how Pryce has trained

Given that whoever plays will be up against Matt King would rule Ainscough out. They found him out at Wire last season.
But I'm going to be completely obtuse here.
I would play
Josh Charnley.
He was the most improved player at Wigan last season, he's fast, strong and has a brilliant attitude to training.
If not him I would go with Pryce to combat Kings physical size.

I think if we played Pryce his fitness better be spot on otherwise Briers will identify him as a weakness and kick the ball behind him all night and when he is knackered he will bomb him to death.

Right here goes. Dont get me wrong here i realy do want pryce to do well at wigan. so do not think this is a one man crusade against pryce. I would love nothing more than to see him in the first team causing opositions defences all sorts of problems.
But and a big but. in a reserve grade team , playing against what could only be described as a very young leigh team. Pryce should be head and shoulders above them ( forgive the pun) .He just wasnt. for the last 15 in the first half he struggled limping and seemed to be stretching off alot obviously trying to shake off a knock . At half time the whole team walked off together, pryce 15 yards behind them all. dont know what that was about , maybe nothing.
The second half pryce took one run in and unless i missed it i dont actualy think he touched the ball again. I could be wrong on that though but he certainly didnt do anything in second half . could he have come in to help the forwards out, im sure he could have put himself about more.when he dropped on that fella who was already tackled thought he had killed the poor fella.I think he had to go off . Yes he did do 80 minutes but hey its what you do on the pitch while your on that counts.
He was good in first 20 -30 creating for marsh. I well say it again i want pryce to do well for us . At this moment going off his performances in the reserve grade i just cant see where he will fit in the team.
