You stated that it was "Obvious" that any vote would come out in favour of the drum.
All I want is your evidence. Nothing more, nothing less.
PS, Sorry, you seem to have moved on from your "obvious" statement to it is a "fact" that the vote would go in favour of a drum. You must have some really good evidence to back up that claim. Can't wait to see it. Go on.'"
PS, Check the Poll at the top of the page...
FACT! People are going in favour of the drum.

Grow up and take your moaning elsewhere. As I have pointed out I now grow tiresome of your moaning.
IF IT BOTHERS YOU SO MUCH GET OFF RLFANS FORUM AND GO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!
I am not arguing any more. You called this site a "Gang of 12 year olds" go somewhere else then so you can stop ruining our board with your pathetic moaning.
I may not know whether a poll would come out on top but we dont know until someone conducts it. As it is the drums are allowed and I am happy go and do something about it if you are not.
So i finish with this: If you aint gonna do anything about it then Put up or shut up!!!
As for the "English Language Degree" comment. Get a life this is an internet message board I am not really bothered about my structure and word usage here so grow up.

After what I thought was a decent start, you just faded away didn't you?
No back up to your silly assertions, poor diction, and no stamina.
Shame.

Have you ever considered that lacing most of your posts with expletives, and calling anybody who disagrees with you a child is probably not the best way to persuade folk of your argument?

Pap is an expletive? You really have had a sheltered upbringing.
I'm not having an argument, I merely stated my opinion that drums are not necessary.
Other posters on here have stated "fact" to me that most people like the drum, and yet no evidence has been forthcoming.
If you recall the last survey that the club did, the average age of the Wigan fan was in the mid 40's, which based on the assertions of the posters on here, would put the majority of fans in the age bracket that would not appreciate the drums.
However, let's not let the total lack of evidence distract us from the "obvious fact" that 100% of Wigan fans like drums.

So to precis, your answer is 'no'.

Well I'm well past 40, and I don't mind the drums. That said, I wouldn't be bothered if I never heard them at matches again.
I'm more interested that you can use terms like: 'I'll be f***ed' and 'set fire to the f***ing thing' and 'some t*t' and 'don't talk crap' and 'penis replacement' and still claim that you don't use expletives.
Or that you can accuse people of being full of themselves, and laugh at their poor diction or their lack of qualifications, and demand evidence for their assertions (without, as far as I can see, offering any for your own) and claim that you're not having an argument.
It's no wonder half the posters on here are trying to wind you up.

Why on Earth do I have to put forward evidence of my own opinion?
I don't recall stating anywhere in this that most people are against drums. Don't let that stop you though.

So when you didn't say there were hundreds of people that don't like drums as oppose to the twenty or so that do - was that in the same part of this thread in which you didn't use expletives?
Never mind, mate. Life's too short.
If you want to argue with people who, by their use of emoticons rather than words, are basically laughing at you, go ahead.

My opinion stands.
One drum in the East stand and one in the South is good for the atmosphere. This topic probably wouldn't even be on here if the had been drum in the East stand on Friday evening, as in previous seasons, so it's clearly the case that there's plenty of people who like them, which is further backed up by the poll above. Fans also "lean" on the drum, so to speak, when it comes to songs starting.
And as has been pointed out in this thread, at away matches, like Warrington & St.Helens in particular, a drum isn't necessary because songs get going on terraces anyway. This, as you're probably aware, is due to the fact that all the fans who like to be vocal are together.
I am one of those people and I think as much noise as possible at home matches should be encouraged. It benefits the team and I also find it embarassing to be constantly outsung by away supporters like we often are at the DW. This is common at some RL grounds I appreciate but it doesn't happen at Hull FC or Hull KR for example.
Simply because you don't like my opinion, doesn't mean it is crap.
