LOADS of neutrals go to the grand final and quite a few also go to the WCC. Im not knocking Leeds support but I think we could match em. There was probably 20-25,000 leeds fans at the GF. we could do that. we once took 40,000 to wembley |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

And there was a sight more than that in 1998 CC final v Halifax. The Wigan ends were chocker and the Fax end was 1/2 full of Wiganers aswell (check out the camera shot panning the Fax end, first time I saw it I thought it was the Wigan end) then aded to that the amount of fans on the dog track

1985. 40,000+
Check the game on Youtube, you will notice Wigan Half of Stadium full of Wiganers and hundreds & hundreds of Wiganers in Hull's half of the stadium. The crowd that day was over 98K, rumoured to be bulls*it (At least 102K) as the "stewards" were letting ticketless Wiganers in in droves!
