Warrington showed an interest in him in the close season, they were rebuffed. I can only assume this is where it came from.
At the end of the dy, Warrington may sway the deal in theor favour with what they have to offer/say. I think this has a long way to run.

| Myler and Tomkins is a very young half back pairing. I have my reservations without an older bloke to interchange with them.

These are my thoughts too, but I have to say - if he wanted to come, I wouldn't say no.

Leuluai, O'Loughlin or even Gleeson or Phelps can give them rests when they need them.
If theres half a chance of getting Myler in then lets go for it i say. He's a fine young player and we can't afford to miss out on talent like that allowing rival clubs to get one up on us if we can help it.
I've said in the past though i hope he stays at Salford but if he's destined to leave i hope it's for us.

Me too.
May need to work on it for a year or so, but from then on we could have the best halfback pairing in SL for the next 10 years.

What was the Wigan bid? Purely cash or players as well?
Myler could be a very good signing for us if him and Sam are brought through well and us fans are patient with them

This is why we need an old hand to spell them both. Leeds did this very successfully with Burrow, McGurie and Dunnermann.

| Look's like it's Wigan then, a bit gutted really. Look's like you'll have the england halfback pairing of the next 10 years.
