I’ve sat (stood) in it for the World Cup final and can’t recall if I saw kids or not but we noticed that u14’s rule and it seems strange to me. That feels like a rule they’d enforce for football but not sure there would be a need for rugby league. Feels like speaking to the Man U ticket office direct might be the best bet.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I thought about that.
But guess they won’t be open on a Sunday & if I wait until Monday I’ll likely miss the better chunk of ticket availability going on sale tomorrow from 10am.
It’ll teach me to not read the small print in the future!

I went in there for the World Cup Final too. Can see why they enforce an age limit, it’s cramped and young kids would have no chance because of the depth of the floor which doesn’t have a great stagger. Went to Spurs’ ground last year for the CC Final and it was on another level for quality for the safe standing area. United have just shoehorned it in and if you’re ’lucky’ enough you’ll get a seat next to a seat that turn in on each other on the bend so you wouldn’t even be able to sit down.

Thanks for that.
I ordered 4 tickets. My wife & I, her grandmother & the little lad.
I chose end of aisle/row seats at the end of the row and the end 2 seats don’t even have seats in front of them as they’re effectively at the top of the first row of steps after the concourse. Chose those so my lad has a chance to rest his legs without someone stood in front of him.
On that basis, I’m happy to take the risk on it in terms of view & facility. I’ll happily hold him up all night I did so recently at Wembley for a football match.
My concern is going over and being turned away on the day, leaving the lad upset (he’s only 5, mind - and it’ll be his first ever RL game) and the money wasted.

OT is so pathetic isn’t it! We got sat on a bend last year for the Leeds v Saints GF. Me and my mate are about 6ft 3 and we had no chance of getting our legs down. I sat sideways and my mate just went for a pint under the stand and once the game kicked off, he found a couple of seats near us that he could fit in.

| Does anyone know why you can't select a block online? You can only choose your ticket price so it feels like pot luck.

| Just been told by a mate that we've sold out our end. Still loads of people left in the queue too.

You can't even access online sales on the website when I tried just now.
I don't want to complain but it is things like this that you only find in RL. Can't think of any other sports or entertainment event Iv been to over the last decade where you cant go online, pick your preferred seat and pay within a few minutes.

| The RFL site was awful last night but you could (eventually) pick your seats. There wasn’t a great deal more than singles left down our end when I looked earlier but they do seem to open up blocks randomly, so worth a try.

Only singles in the West via the RFL. Obviously lots in the East and some higher up in the North.
Think I'll hold my nerve for now - usually there's a big rush for seats initially for finals but when it calms down you can always get hold of decent seats. If not and 20,000 Wigan fans have suddenly come out of hiding then fair enough - I'll sit with the French lads.

Serge from Parr, John Pierre from Castleford and Benoit from Leigh will be down that end. All good lads.

| All a bit chaotic down at the Stadium this afternoon. We turned up at 1pm and the queues was round the back of the North Stand. Kept hearing rumours that they only had 300 tix left. Queued up for 2h and they only had £85 tix left.
Staff wandered out from the ticket office to say there may be another allocation tomorrow, but couldn't guarantee it.
There will be 45k on next week and they'll be giving tix away by Thursday. Only the RFL could manage this so badly

However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

| F***ing joke (System/Club/Both?).
Got to the ground at 08:45, because I wanted to choose the block that the tickets were in, and that was the only way to do it, according to Wigan's own release to the website..
Queued until 13:15, only to be told "There are only £85 or a few standing tickets left, and they'll probably run out before you get to the front." (I was about 20th in the queue by then).
Who "planned" this?
I believe that the RFL had a plan to only release tickets in the lower tier behind the sticks, and to hold back the upper tier until they sold out - because it looks better on TV to have a full lower tier).
But with the club opening up a free-for-all, rather than giving a few hours of priority to either/both ST holders and physical sales, they've ed off a huge number of supporters today (the queue was still round to the NE corner, so probably a good 5-600+ fans still in it).
Why not release ALL of the tickets to Wigan, with the instruction to only sell from the lower tier block until that's gone, then switch to the upp;er tier block of tickets./
I'm going to wait for the next block to be released, but I'll now have to just take whatever I'm allocated online.
Thanks for wasting 6hrs of my Sunday, Wigan.
So much for us being able to "enjoy" going to a final.
