I listened to the opening half hour and final 25 minutes and what I heard Wigan were well on top and deserved victory.

I wouldn't say 'well on top' but certainly the better team in a tight game. Ran harder and made far more metres than we did. There was a bit of fortune for the match winning try but that's the game, it happens, we had a similar bit of luck in Newcastle.

Hull lacked a bit of nous at half back, I think if Sneyd had played Hull would've won.

Deserved to win but in dreadful conditions second half it was always gonna be tight . The thunderstorn was a belter lol

I was listening to Wish FM so it’s going to be biased to Wigan I suppose, the winning try was sounded ridiculously lucky.
You talk about the lack of nous at half back,we’ve been like that for the best part of 2 seasons!!!Sneyd has his limitations but he’s just the type of half we could do with.

And that's one good reason why I never comment on a game I haven't actually seen. Wish FM is the worst for it, they'd rather tell you who is tweeting about having a bbq or where they are on holiday than commentate on the game!!

I remember as a kid we didn’t have sky and I used to listen to football and think games where end to end then watch the highlights and they where nothing like described.
Williams got made to sound like he fluffed a lot yesterday but you can’t argue with those stats,although the more people mention it the more I think he would be suited to hooker.

Hulls choice I think because they’ve played a couple at that time on a Saturday now. I’d love for us to follow suit when we can tbh. I always used to like the Saturday games on Sky before we were binned off to play on Thursdays instead.

We have our non-televised games on a Friday because of a survey some years ago which showed that was the most popular amongst our fans. I believe most other clubs schedule their games for similar reasons.

Hull have a couple of 'event' games on a Saturday afternoon every season where we have stuff going on in the park around the stadium pre-game and run ticket offers to get a big gate. This was one of them.

Didn’t watch or listen to the game but it’s a well needed 2 points in the bag. Lucky with the last try? Definitely but you make your own luck in SL.
