| To be honest, though, the French were bloody rubbish. They must have knocked on every time they got near the Leeds line. And that pillock of a hooker who even managed to make Ryan Bailey look good - that was a shocking defensive effort from a so-called professional player.

I am gutted we can't pick Catalan tbh.
How they finished 4th is a mystery. Every time I've watched them this year they've been cack.. maybe the curse of SKY.

| I believe that some of the Catalans clubs fans have been boycotting their games of late due to bias. After tonights match, I have some sympathy.
Pretty sure that McGuire won't get a ban for that swinging arm attack to the head.

Errm, this is Leeds we're writing about.
There is a very strong opinion that the RFL are biased towards Leeds.

From my memory there was only one incident which went to Catalans the grubber kick which Dureau played at then Zac Hardaker threw his dummy out. On the same incident isn't that an automatic sin bin for Zac for throwing the ball away?
Danny Mcguire should have been sent off or binned, that would have been 11 men on the field for Leeds for at leat 9 minutes. Not to mention Peacock offside, hands in rucks which were missed, head high shots etc.

| I have said before that this guy has gone beyond being a bad joke now, but having said that it’s not only him, but he has been a stand-out for Wigan fans this season though. Why is it that when he is in charge of games in which Wigan are not involved he seems to have his back pocket stitched, and seems to see nowt of any real controversy that others see. Now Sky seem to be joining in on the act during and after games when Wigan have done some mister meaner or other they analyse it to death, but seem to brush other things by some teams aside with a “it’ll be chip in the paper tomorrow” like the Danny McGuire incident last night, for which he should have gone,(and must get at least one game IMO) but no, McGuire stays and goes on to score a try and a drop-goal. I know some will say I like some other Wigan fans have a big chip on my shoulder, fine say that, but I’d say the chip is yours. I have never known this topic to be so up-front with so many fans and the RFL better get a grip, and soon! Is this kind of thing not one of the reasons why some are staying away from games?

| What are they putting in the water in Wigan that's making you all do paranoid? Do you actually know the penalty count last night? Thaler made a few mistakes for both sides in what was a full blooded fast game of RL. McGuire deserves a one match ban it was a lazy challenge on a player that was falling, not comparable to the mcalorrums incident. Fakirs elbow and then head high shot was also pretty bad.
Your club it's representatives and the fans just seem to be lacking a bit of class.

| The standard of refereeing in Super League has gone worse and worse since the days when Greg McCallum was in charge of the officials.
As far as I'm concerned it's time for an overhaul of the refereeing department within the RFL, the present lack of consistency is frustrating supporters from all clubs and in some cases driving them away from the sport as they don't see a level playing field.
Last nights poor performance was just another to add to a very long list in recent times.
RFL, get it sorted out!!

| He's just an awful referee in general. Iv been watching the championship this season and there are far better referees in the lower leagues than this clown

Why are Leeds fans trying to pass this off as a "Lazy challenge" ????
The definition of a lazy challenge is one is which the tackling player either makes a late grab or catches the man with a fairly loose, pretty much stationary arm around the head.
The "tackle" from McGuire, last night, was a full-blooded, full-speed challenge, during which his right arm was fully cocked back, before swinging it forward in to the head of a man who was unable to see it coming.
Please watch the replays before passing this off as a "nothing" incident or a result of simple tiredness.
It should have carried EXACTLY the same punishment as MM - Red card + 3 matches.

You can't be sin binned for a head shot unless there's been a warning given previously.
Do you miss Fakir's elbow and high shot?

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| He was bad for both sides, with that i agree... But for those saying that the penalty count did end up in Cats favour, i agree, but it should have been a much bigger difference. I would like to see sin bins being used early next season, instead of the cop out of "On report". And if they are REALLY not seeing these events on the field of play, time for new officials.
For those Leeds fans turning up, and as they do, just before and after our clubs clash, we have been talking about the refereeing standards all season, and not just for our own games.
