Yes, according to the RFL Chief exec on Thursday nights Radio Manchester RL programme tv money is the biggest source of clubs income.

They have a good reason to move it, an England world cup game. Im sure the attendance will be effected if they dont move the game anyway.

And I'd rather their are 3 games on Sky to watch every week than not at all. Bit of fixture change inconvenience is a small price to pay for that. In my opinion.

Agree totally. Its good to watch other teams to see how they are getting on. I even watch any Championship games that are on live too.

Do you think it would affect the attendance that much? Its only a group game anyway. Not like a Quarter Final v Italy or Germany.

saturday teatime would be the obvious time - sliding it in between the 2 world cup games starting at 3 and 7.30 - the England game on friday cannot be taken on -

i suppose thursday nights a non runner ???- theyve done it before mind and not just Wigan v Saints- they moved a game in 2006 from friday to thursday to avoid the start of the world cup - Saints v Hull if i remember

They have a rail cup semi final scheduled for Thursday Night so not likely.
