I will make another prediction regarding Feka, the lad will have a major say in how Wigan go in the playoffs and will be a key player in the Grand Final.

But you have just been saying he gets little game time! How long was he on the field in the 2nd half? How much did he contribute to the 20-0 lead?
He's part of the squad because if you think Preccy and O'Carroll don't think their places are under threat from him you are very much mistaken.
MM has to man manage this so that whoever isn't playing does not get disillusioned and if what I have read about him explaining why players are left out early in the week is true then he is doing so. Feka knows what's required to get in the team but he should also know it's a squad game this year for us. Preccy and O'carroll are simply not going do the full season given the way we play. It's too punishing and we have to hope the coaching staff are working on getting what they want from Feka and he is applying himself to that task.

| Can someone tell me how Craig Fitzgibbon almost at the age of 33 can play 70 mins non stop in a match.
But yet feka age 28 can only manage in total 20 mins a match.

I can but i fear you have already decided its as simple as Feka is unfit and lazy.
Mark my words, if handled correctly and i have no reason to think he will not be by the current conditioning coach in 8 to 12 weeks time Feka will be back to being one of the best impact Props in the game.
This will mean him sitting out some early rounds to work on his power.

So you really believe age is the only factor here?

Not just age.
Fielden tonight played 30 fantastic mins non stop.
I can never see feka doing that.
He has lost alot of weight from last season but still only plays the same amount of minutes.

Prescott and O'carroll don't play anywhere near 70mins either and they are significantly younger than both players. Does that make them turd as well?

Feka is not that type of player though, he is an impact prop. At the moment he isnt having the same impact as he has been having in the past because he is not carrying the weight, but in training he will be working on building his power up which will make up for the weight loss, and then we will see the player we want too see. He will be a monster when Maguire, Wane and Bitcon have sorted him out.

maybe because that is all the coach wants him to play, it is the coach that determines how long he is on the pitch,i seem to recall him putting in a few 30 minute appearances last season, yet still was slagged off, he is an impact prop plain and simple, 2 20 minute spells is good enough for as long as he is producing those phenomenal runs that he can produce

27588.gif "Games as big as a grand finals define individuals and clubs. Remember we are only renting these shirts, I had my time in Pat Richards shirt. Ellery and Faz had there time in Sean's, Hampo and Radders in Sam's. You have to make a mark in these shirts that's still there the day you hand it over to someone else. So be aware for 80 minutes you are not only playing but also writing history and creating a legacy. How many people get to actually write history, not many. A big stage demands big players, be inspired. You play for Wigan, now go do it. Good luck." - Martin Offiah, 2010.:27588.gif |

| I thought all 3 were very good tonight. We've seen an amazing turnaround from Roberts and that just continues. We've also seen Fielden find probably his best form in a Wigan shirt outside of his first 4 or 5 games for us and Riddell find a real consistant patch where he just keeps the side ticking over with great distribution.
I can't agree with people praising the preformence of Coley tonight tbh. I actually thought he was nowhere near his best and has played way better in a few games already this season.

| On another forum some Hull fans alluded to Radford getting the better of Fielden due to the 'Psyche out' of the boxing match. Clearly Stu had a superb game, did he get the chance to put any demons to rest?
