| Wigan is rubbish for hotels for inbetween the town centre/JJB.
The Quality Inn across from Central Park is probably the nicest but is on the wrong side of the town centre. The Brocket, although pretty far out of the town centre is of a good location and is part of one of the most popular, decent pubs outside the centre.
There's a hotel being built on the Trencherfeild Mill site that will be of a good location for the town and JJB.

Thank you, Judith Chalmers.

36121_1270460193.jpg Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.
Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_36121.jpg |

The Quality Hotel is now the Oak Hotel Wigan (or Wigan Oak Hotel) - You're sacked Judith!
As someone who's stayed at the Brockett on a regular basis I can only advise you to ensure that you're smashed out of your head or that you take sleeping tablets to ensure you get some shut-eye. The bar staff have a very annoying habit of sorting the empties outside at gone midnight and at the crack of bird$hit.

| We have stayed at the Brocket on many occasions and the only thing that really lets it down is the ridiculous size of the car park! We parked our new car on the road outside (in front of the disused garage) and some lovely person scratched it for us! We tried the Bellingham which was OK - good car park but unfortunately there was a wedding on and the noise continued until the small hours. Rooms were a little tired but OK and the breakfast was very good. Bit of a walk to JJB so you need plenty of sustenance from pies!!

| [iThe carpet was so dirty we put towels on the floor so we were not walking on it. The bed was broken, the wardrobe had a panel missing. There was a fist mark in the wall. Couldn't drink the tea as the cup was so dirty stuck to the saucer![/i
