I am still not sure about Bowen. He did not give us much in attack and cancelled out his own score with some juggling behind the posts that lead to a Cas try. Not sure about what happened there. Was he clotheslined after he played the ball or did he just collapse in a heap?

As I said yesterday I am not too downhearted and that has not changed today. I think we're all guilty of underestimating the impact the WCC could have on our season. I don't think we'll see the true capability of this side until around Good Friday. We now have Hull KR and then Wire away, two tough games. The attitude just wasn't there yesterday especially indiscipline, one of the most frustrating displays in recent times but means very little after 3 games.

We looked faster and better organised with Logan on the pitch. Not often you can say it but he outplayed MM yesterday, I too think we would have won had he stayed on, the passes looked crisper from him. Not sure who threw the ones I spotted but a few times yesterday we had players reaching out to take the ball. I was at the game and did not listen to your views but we had at least two poor last plays to end our sets with. From these I think Cas scored points from their next sets. Far to many things wrong yesterday and plenty to work on during the week. Wane has to take some of the blame as tactically we were way off.

maybe it means very little to you, but it means a hell of a lot to us. we were 3/3 but being accused of not playing anyone yet - today we proved that we are capable of mixing it with the big boys.

Yes it's early doors, but we've answered a lot of questions today. You're guaranteed top 8, we aren't. So our win yesterday is quite significant (to us)

Burgess and sarginson look excellent in attack but pretty poor in defence. How many of Cas' tries came down that side!? Thornley was awful at RC when he usually plays on the left, he doesn't seem to be able to pass effectively to his right, and this was highlighted by the poor forward pass which led to Josh's try being chalked off early in the 2nd half. If anyone can think of a goalkicking centre we should be in for them!

Lyon? that would also upset a few of our not so nice friends

Perhaps Lockers will learn from this as well. If he had sat out the Wakefield game and played in this one we would have won both comfortably. Sorry Cas fans, but you looked professional but not spectacular against our down right inept. The diffrence between the two was organisation. Lockers would have strengthened the middle and everyone would have known what was expected.

don't be sorry mate, I don't think that was anywhere near our best performance either - but whether you played bad or we forced your hand is a question nobody can answer - and that we can mix it with the top teams is enough in itself for me

Just watched the game back on DVD (as a Cas supporter) and I agree totally with this post. You looked far quicker and more dangerous with Logan on the pitch. Might get his chance now MM is banned for 3 games

difference being Wigan has been successful for the past 5 years.
