I have heard that Goulding has been told that he either goes to Salford on loan for the rest of the year or he sits in the reserves.

He was told after the Barrow game - he will not play 1st team again this year!!

If he isn't going to play first team, why keep him.

He is going on loan just like you have done with Moore

Goulding has the right attutide, he has been given another chance and will knuckle down to improve on his weaknesses.

I thought part of the Saints master plan was to send players out for a seasons loan? Why keep them?

Moore is being groomed as the long-term replacement for Cunningham.

And what makes you think the same is not being done with Goulding are Saints the only team that look to do this

Well I hope it wasn't put to him in those terms "Go to Salford or else...."

That said a season playing under McRea could to him a world of good as he might in fact get some decent coaching.

If he has got any sense he would go to Salford and with a bit of luck when he comes back we will have a new coach anyway.
