20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| Next Years Squad:-

3- Gleeson
4- Carmont
5- Ainscough
6- Tomkins/Anasta
7- Orford/Kimmorley/Tomkins
8- Cayless
9- Riddell
10- Lynch
11- Hock
12- Hansen
13- O'Loughlin
14- Palea'easina
15- Fielden
16- Leuluai
17- Tomkins/Mossop
Coley - Salford
Bailey - Celtic
Smith - Cronulla
Phelps - Hull FC
Goulding, Pryce, McIllorum, Flannagan - On loan for a full season if they don't show their full potential by the end of the season to warrant a squad place for next year.
The year after swap Fielden for LMS whoever he is and carmont for Pryce if he is good enough, if not Matt Cooper.
Simple Mr Lenegan, I could run the club half hour a week its easy!

| Petero Civoniceva staying with Penrith for 2010 at least, he is 33 also.
That rules him and Lockyer out!

Campese is off contract at the end of the season according to this. At the moment he is the best stand off in the NRL IMO and would be perfect to partner Sam. He is only 24, quality player with a great kicking and passing game, controls a game really well and would unlock any defence in super league. His salary would be pretty high because he is/will be playing rep footy in Oz. Surely its worth offering him a deal, money talks
If he is going to get rep fotty he will never come here.

He's battling it out to play origin footy, there is no way, at 24, he'd turn his back at origin and national team rugby to come to Wigan.
No Aussie international would.

Matt King? Michael Crocker?
Not saying he would come to Wigan but its surely worth trying to persuade him

We all know first grade aussies VERY VERY rarely come to the UK when they could have a chance to wear the green and gold.
I don't know what the situation was with Matt King.
Gasiner and Inglis were coming to as the starting centres at the time. Before Gas when to France to kick a rugby ball then get injured.

'There's only one code of rugby.': |

| would quite like to see us make a play for Carl Webb (Cowboys) or Nathan Hindmarsh (Eels) - brickhouse forwards who don't take a backwards step...
