Should he stay in the team ahead of the returning Mathers though?

Ainscough and Goulding píss all over Mathers and Phelps they should keep them two out the team the rest of the season.

Need to put an emote in or use inverted commas in places if you want to convey sarcasm. I've backed you on the Noble issue and will continue to, however, I won't not take the michael when something like that presents itself



Re Ainscough - I was listening to GMR as I was not available for the game but the lad appeared to play well, bags of confidence and effort. Expect him to go back to the Reserves but only to polish his game a little, after all, he's still v young and only just out of the academy.

Goulding isn't, yes he might be a nice lad and have lost some weight, but my god, his defence is shockingly bad. He gets flack for being ball greedy but his real weakness is his defence, he gets skinned all ends up all to often.

Him and Phelps are both average. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ainscough should keep his place though, no question.

Was this due to the tactic of Wigan walking 3 steps forward and holding allowing the fastest centre in Sl the space to get up to full speed and take the outside line?
