Theyve Said today that Bateman is injured and wont be playing on Sunday, he pulled his back out in Florida and you maybe right with Pettybourne as i forgot about Dudson i think he needs to prove his worth too so he may start, dont agree with gelling on the wing though he's never a winger in a million years it's been proven by last years performances, hes much more dangerous in the centre spot and looked our liveliest player in some games

The Wigan Observer reckons World Cup players plus Bowen are unlikely to figure (I'd guess Gelling and Dudson would still be up for selection though given their countries early exits) so I'd guess we'll look something like-

I agree that Gelling's best position is centre, and personally prefer him there to Thornley, I just think him getting the 5 shirt means they'll at least give him a run there. We could do with at looking at all viable wing options anyway IMO just incase Charnley doesn't make the WCC, it's not like we're short of second rowers after all |

if thats the squad i think it will make it a very good game. and would be very interesting to see how clubb and sarginsons perform for wigan and how the youngsters have developed over the off season. |

yeh i think they must have confused them because it definitely said earlier this week in the post that Bateman was set to miss out with back strain, oh well either way we will have a competitive team this year with the looks of it.
