I don’t think you could ever criticise Powell for his commitment.

His ability has also never been in doubt.

He for me is the one player that has benefitted most by the coaching change.

He was very one dimensional under Wane now under Lam I think he has been given much more freedom to play the game and show his full range of skills.

As I understand it he has been regarded as the captain elect for a few years now and rightfully so.

Looks like a performance we were promised when Lam signed up. Still things to work on, first 20-30 mins we struggled, seems like discipline is still costing us. Was a turning point when Sezer left the field.

Hopefully a performance we can build on though. The depth we have in this squad is really exciting. Looking forward to getting Wells and Kilner into the mix and Having Lockers, Gilly and Clarke back in.

If we keep knocking off the wins then Good Friday is building up to look one hell of a game. Saints will certainly keep their form going, so we need to keep building our confidence. The prop selection is getting there now and that will be important. I’m thinking Flower for Clubb from today and that’s our best five.
