| I blame our captain for Joels sending off he should have banished him to the back line not let him take the 1st ball after the fracas, that was very amateurish from him and our so called senior players!!

Joels a big boy - responsible for his own actions. Next you will be suggesting that our amateurish captain and childish senior players told him to do it

| C'mon now people. Joel was simply displaying that well known Tomkins petulant trait, that seems to manifest itself when things are not going too well.
Add into the mix that Tomkins junior, despite being an annoying little scrote is ten times the RL player that Tomkins Senior will ever be, and I suspect sibling rivalry is at the root for many of his childish actions. It must be a bit wearing for Big Brother when all he hears are Sam this, and Sam that!
It'll be a shame if he misses the Headingley game in a couple of weeks. Having two Tomkins on the field doubles the opportunity to hand out some instant Karma to these two bad boys..... and that's worth the admission money on it's own!

If he was a model professional he would have ignored the first incident and got on with the game. Instead he chose and act of thuggery, got caught and was subsequently punished. The only person to blame for his sending off is himself.

We're gutted because we really should have won the game and it's not often i've come away from your place thinking that. Poor discipline at the play the balls cost us big time in the 2nd half.
Some of the moaning on here about our supposed tactics on Sam Tomkins is laughable though. Some of your lot would be better off at Cheltenham this week with these blinkers on. He's a fantastic player, unplayable at times but that doesnt mean he should recieve special treatment form the officials.'" 's g
If I was Agar, last week at training, I would have said, "Get that Sam Tomkins. Put him out of the game." The Hull players would obviously have been following orders. I don't blame them. I blame the referee. When I coached my under 11s school team I would say, "Hit so and so hard (but fairly) and the rest of the team won't want to know."
It's great that Sam can take big hits and still come back for more. He's a tough young man.

The vast majority of the penalties Hull conceded were for "foul play" ones - high tackles, grapple tackles, tackles in the air, punching, chicken wings and the like. Call it poor discipline if you like, but thuggery would be a better description.
The vast majority of ours were "technical" ones - offsides, interference at PTB, not square and the like.

| Just for the record the penalty count for yesterdays match was 10 - 7 in Wigan's favor. If my memory serves me right, having read league express.

He didnt 'lead with it'.....i.e run in with it raised.
Initial Impact was at chest height.
However he did follow through, whether that was intentional or not it is for the RFL to decide.

| Re Yeaman and Radders - Indeed. But we havent bleating on about it. You're all banging on about tiny tomkins being bullied all day long, how the ref never protected him blah blah blah. And what do you know, he's up before the beak for running in, cowardly thuggish behaviour.
You'll have to hope Ganson is on the panel eh!

| Under the circumstances it was a fantastic win, especially when you consider our injuries and Joel being sent off.

Look mate, no-one is asking for 'special treatent' but a head high is a head high whether you like the player or not or whether the player complains about it to the referee or not. The shots on Sam T were high. I sit on the half way line and had a clear view of them, something I'm guessing you didn't. I'll give you the benefit of that excuse for now. Any futher argument will show you to be the blinkered, one-eyed fool you're coming across as. Unfortunately I reckon it's short odds that you'll prove that last statement to be the correct one.
