Date for the Next Get together.
Pre the Meeting it would be good to know if there are any current ideas that have gone into production?
i.e Matty B with the 8 in a row flag etc.
This would give us an idea of how many we will have by the Cats Home game.
If anyone has,inc Matty B, can you just confirm with either Chris or Myself via PM please. (21-12) has lost his password so it's pointless sending them to him!
If anyone wants to put any suggestions forward and they can't make it to the evening could they please let Jimmy Birts lives on or myself know prior to the evening of the 17th Feb together with a mock up of the idea we will present it on your behalf.
Obviously the more that make it to the evening the better and it's been suggested that we should be able to decide on at least 1 more design and put that into production the day after with a view to that one being ready by the Hull game at least.
It seems that there has been a good backing for Yicker's (Dawn) idea of having a Theme of "Era's" i.e 60's/70's 80's 90's 00's etc.
I've already had 3 potential backers for the above Era's them & doing the 80's one next and although I suggested Edwards/Hanley/Gregory their has been widespread support for Westy to be included!
So Another thought I've had is to have the 3 x Challenge cup Captains of that Era holding the trophy i.e West/Edwards/Hanley
I'm going to put a Poll up shortly to see which of these 2 ideas go down the best & I'm going to speak to Rolf about mocking the different ideas up so hopefully I'll have a couple of examples soon.
Theres is a catch though!
I'm also going to ask those with an opinion to also see if they would "Pledge" anything towards either of those potential Flags. This will help us decide which flag to go with as although 75% may want to go with one idea over the other, if the other gets more pledges & contributions then that's the one we'll go with? You know what they say, Talks Cheap!
Plus, if anyone feels like putting say a Fiver towards whichever design we do decide to go with Next week on the evening it should help the Idea turn into reality sooner! (although this obviously won't be compulsary! But you can pledge more!
)
With the pledges I've already received it would only take £5 each off say 20 attendees (if we can get that) to match the equivalent of what it took to make the Boston/McTigue/Ashton one.
