| Quote NickyKiss="NickyKiss"No moaning at all from me that we have too many tickets. I'm happy that you've given us a quarter of your ground.
I'm just surprised you guys are so chuffed you've managed to shift 13,500 tickets for such a big game. The crowing you guys have done since your tickets went last week would make you think you'd sold the Nou Camp out! Or even a big superleague ground like the DW!!'"
Let me remind you before they do, that at least they do own their own ground, small as it is...

I couldn't enjoy the celebrations at Wembley or Old Trafford last year simply because I couldn't get the thought of us only having a 50 year lease on the DW out of my mind
As I pointed out to my dad 'trophies are all well and good but we don't own the plastic seats'.

| Wigan never sell out if their allocation according to a poster on the Saints board. Well that's 2 out of 2 now which isn't bad considering we get a quarter of the whole stadium.
Should be a cracking atmosphere.

Correct its OUR stadium. Remind me again.... how times have you been kicked out of that stadium you rent? Also, its good that theres no wedding taking place on GF as we would need to shut a whole stand. Oh dear

You know what, if we win tomorrow I don't think I'll be able to celebrate the win because deep down inside I know that we don't own our own ground with cladding. Jog on.

Once, and how many times did you have to play at Widnes.

| Some number above 14. Although our last nomadic trip to Widnes provided Wigan with that great stumbling block of Saints in the playoffs, so we can't say that our year on the road was all bad.

| How did that play off series turn out for Saints again?
Another bottle job in a very long line of bottle jobs. Saying that even those have dried up now and have been replaced with the highlight of your season (going off last years example) being a scrappy victory against Wigans second team at home.
Glory days.

Haha. You're getting quite touchy this week aren't you? Are you not coping well with us being a big contender again? Embrace it mate, chill out.

In answer to your question we faired a little better than Wigan did. Of course as the title holders this year you are welcome to brag.
You have approximately 6 more months to use that right so enjoy it whilst it lasts. I'm doubt many Saints fans would argue that we where in the running last year, but if you look over more than just the short term, I can comfort myself slightly with the fact that our lean years have been limited to a drop to the top 5 and skimmishes with the eventual title holders in the Grand finals.
Now remind us all how those lean years worked out for Wigan? Or are they too far back to recall.
