Seems strange that Whelan should announce this news on the day that the fixture draw should be made for next season.
Surely the latic's fans can't be that daft that they rush out and purchase the new season tickets because of this earth shattering news that they now OWN the stadium.
Could they??

Has Chairmaker forgotten about the bananas thrown at KR then? Or is he just choosing to ignore it.
I know a few St Helens people who were pretty disgusted by that. But, as I've never witnessed that happening at any other ground (and I followed the Hanley / Gill Wigan team everywhere) using Chairmaker's model, it would have been just as easy to call St Helens 'the Racism Capital of Rugby League'.
That guy is an embarrassment to Saints fans. Someone ought to dig his photo up again. He was running pretty scared the last time that happened.

wouldn't suprise me if Latics got the 20m pound asking price for that player mr whelan would take his money and run !

Surely one of the main points supporting a sporting team is enjoy watching play against their biggest rivals?
I'd hate for St Helens or Warrington to drop out of the league. |
