Quote Mugwump="Mugwump"The days of informing players what's safe and what isn't and then letting them get on with it have long gone. WADA offers extensive guidance on mitigating recreational and performance enhancing drug use among professional athletes. If Wigan chooses to disclose its efforts prior to the Hock case we shall see if it has acted responsibly.'"
My understanding is that Wigan did make all reasonable efforts to mitigate against this happenning, including;
a) paying Hock in £1 coins so he had no access to £20 notes to hoover all that columbian marching powder up his nose.
b) removing the toilet seat and cistern lid off his toilet to stop him sneaking in there and chopping out a line whilst pretending to have a cr*p
c) removing all flat surfaces from his house (same reason as above)
d) removing all mirrors from his house (this wasn't done to stop him seeing his reflection but for same reason as b & c)
e) cutting his said marching powder 50/50 with snuff to make him sneeze out just as much as he shorted upDespite all that, he somehow managed to (allegedly) sneak some up his hooter.
Obviously wigan didn't try hard enough............
