| Quote: Cruncher "So you'd disagree that the difference between Wigan this year and last year is enormous?'"
As I've said before, I have been very impressed with you so far this year, and you are certainly a much stronger side. However, after 10 games, it's a bit early to be proclaiming "Wigan are back" or the RFL will have to change the rules to make things level again. My Memory isn't the best but weren't Huddersfield near the top of the league at this time last year?

| Quote: Father Ted "The common factor between Kear and Agar is that Kear had 54 put past his team where as Agar only had 48 put past his lot.
It's not the Wigan defence that's the problem between these two but their own defences.
Perhaps they should sort out their own problems before starting on about Wigan.
Potter mentioned that Wigan were not playing to the "spirit" of the game.
This, as the salary cap proved, is the rule which only applies to Wigan.
The RFL confirmed Wigan didn't break the rules on the SC but they deducted points on the "spirit of the cap" garbage.
Potter, in a radio interview, admitted Wigan are not breaking the rules so let's see how this one turns out!'"
It's quite amusing actually.
Potter / Kear / Agar: "We don't like this rule, so it should be changed."
Wish we could apply this kind of logic to our everyday existence.

| Quote: AJ "It would see the club put under pressure from all sides, notably the clubs and the two nodding idiots on sky. IL set out with an idea and as it develops it seems to be pushing the club towards the tree at a stunning pace.
People like Potter who are seeing his "all star" team age and break up, are fast realising that his success story with Catalan mean nothing with "superstars" like Jon Wilkin as his front line of attack, so naturally his instinct is to want the team at the top dealt with by rule changes. Stunning really.'"
What did Potter say after the Wigan game that was so annoying to Wigan fans? Not sure I've read it.

Why are we? All but two coaches have complained about our defence, one being smith who complained about the video ref making the correct decision, and Macnamara who won, so no shock there!
Every coach has bleated about boring rugby, whilst wigan have scored some fantastic tries joel's yesterday was amazing, there would be cum all over the commentary booth if matt king or john wilkin had scored that try! But once again the fact that Wigan are playing well and looking good, means instead of getting upto the level to compete, we should bring that level down!
Now im not saying we will win anything, but dont you think its a shame we are encouraging mediocraty once again!

For a supporter of the team presently heading the league, you sound remarkably bitter! Slick didn't make any derogatory comments about Wigan's tactics so far as the Saints website is concerned (I didn't see his post-match comments on Sky, if any, as I was at the match). He simply said Wigan 'won control of the ruck', which in coaching terms is an accurate observation.

That shows exactly what I mean. Yes your playing well at the minute, But I really dont think the RFL or anyone are going to be changing the rules to "Bring down the Level" after 10 games. Yes you have looked extremely good for 10 games, but I wouldn't say that you have took the level up any further, it's certainly to early to be saying this after 10 games.
As for Cum in the commentary box? I really think this is something you have to get over. Which ever fans you talk to, they always believe that Eddie and Stevo are against them!

Its all about opinions though isnt it?
Every fan has an opinon on Wigans defence, there was as of this morning a 36 comment thread on the bbc website, the nearest other thread had 9 comments, and the vast majority wanted the rules changing, Eddie and Stevo were nearly crying on friday saying "they have got to penalise them", even though we were doing nothing worst than the saints defenders! I may be a precious Wigan fan but i can admit it, how many opposition fans can admit to only wanting a rule change because its wigan?
Just because im paranoid, doesnt meen the whole world isnt against us!

Didnt he say on the radio that our defence wasnt in the spirit of the game?
Not sure what that means to be honest, but i dont understand it when someone says "spirt" of something, either its a rule or it isnt!
If he didnt say that then yes that makes 3

I don't want the rules changed, admittedly it doesn't look nice at times, but it's up to other coaches to come up with ideas to try and break this down if that's what's being done. All times hold down to an extent, Wigan are just doing it very well at the minute, by getting more into each tackle. I've no complaints with it.

Non from me either bud, if it sees the end of the scooter hooker and lets players like, sam and eastmond learn how to unlock defences scoring great tries like they have been doing, then im all for it!
How running 8 yards every other play can be deemed creative rugby ill never know!

When was he on the radio? The man can hardly speak as it is. I don't remember him being on the radio. But his recorded comments following the match on Good Friday were not crticial of Wigan's tactics. Quite the opposite it would seem.
He has criticised a referee this season. Smith, I think it was. I can't remember after which match. He had a word with the RFL. Has Smith been seen again? I don't know. I'd be happy if he wasn't.
