I can't imagine this news has gone down too well in St Helens. A Saints supporting mate of mine rails against Meli and Flannery every chance he gets.

Ade Gardener has got a year left on his contract , so are they releasing him from it or are Salford paying for him , I wreckon he is worth a £5 .

Flannery switched to the centre later in the season, with Soliola coming back into the 2nd row, along with Wilkin and Puletua - there was no room for Clough either way.

So Flannery could have been keeping him out of the team.

Flannery drops out of the team, Soliola moves into the centres and Clough comes in.

Soliola is too slow to be a centre, especially after his knee op this year. Flannery played Centre at SoO a few years back if I'm remember.
