If Sam goes the game should hang its head in shame, not only for the constant crap he takes but more to the point the RFL have then clearly shown there lack of ambition to keep its stars within the game and is almost as good as saying we dont care about the future of the international squad and the game, however we will continue to spin BS to the fans in a hope they will keep digging deep to watch meaningless international games with players who are always going to be that bit short of experience and class at that level.

Might as well become an amateur sport for what its worth as there is clearly no ambition within the game

What any decent RL fan should do is get behind Sam when the 4 Nations kick off and this may help.

No realistic ambition, just dreaming morons who think if they equalize the competition by dragging everyone down the level of the lowest club the game will thrive. And that's just at the RFL. A lot of muppets on here think the same.

I really dont think sam will go, maybe joel coz i have heard rumours he has gone to saracens or harlequins however I dont think he will go because hes on contract at wigan playing for england and is one of the best players in the world so why would he leave league.

Maybe Sam is not going to go to RU after all.

He is in the 4 Nations squad and so maybe he wishes to showcase his talents against the Aussies and the Kiwis before he does eventually move.

I hope he stays in our game but a friend of mine who lives in Australia says that there is a strong rumour over there that Sam may be on his way to South Sydney.

Apparently Russell Crowe is a huge admirer of Sam and rumour goes that Crowe has told Madge that he will break the bank to bring Sam to the Rabbitohs if Madge wants him.

Hope Sam stays in RL with us but if he wants to go to the NRL I for one will wish him all the very best.

I cant believe how blase people are being about Joel leaving! He's one of the most talented players in the squad who had an indifferent season in a new position. To lose Joel and Hoff in the same season is devastating on the squad! Two irreplaceable players imo (with the salary cap anyway)
