| Quote: exiled Warrior "Very lazy effort from the pack - letting the backs do all the work - some of them need a roasting in training or dropping.
Very disjointed in attack, we didn't look like we had any game plan at all at times and fell for some sucker punches from KR. Kicking game was all over the place.
Some poor disipline but Kendall nailed us at times for holding down but KR were just as guilty but somehow never got pinned for it.
Bloody awful game as a spectacle though.'"
Strange isn’t it. I saw just the opposite. Wigan were laying on many times but were not punished. We did get a few six agains towards the end when the visitors began to panic and lose their cool.

Whilst I don’t rate Silva, not sure what getting rid of him will do.
He will be on next to no money and is currently on loan.
We have money to spend, or rather should given Batemans departure so finance’s especially the wage of Silva shouldn’t be an issue.

Even if the entire Wigan team had been out on the ale the night before, they would still muller the smaller of hulls 2 teams. Gtfo

Two in a row at the start of the second half - I am sure there were a couple late first half as well, pretty sure Wigan only got one. It is the sheer inconsistency that annoys me, some of the play the balls on both sides were ridiculously slow.

| Is it me or is Mike Cooper looking old? I loved watching him for Wire, seemed to never have a bad game and looked fit as a fiddle.
Feel he gets out caught of position a lot in defence, getting left on the floor or retreating. Gave Leeds a try in the playoff semi and noticed it a few times tonight.
The point out the 3 not used quota spots in the team is a great one. Vossy kept saying saints had 7 ex NRL players in the team this morning. Not necessarily their best players but all solid contributors.

Our best prop today in my opinion.

I trust your opinion mate. I probably need to put myself through a rewatch. Just his poor marker play stood out.
Parcel killed us all game.

| I watched the game and had to double check that Toby King was playing!
Cooper, may be best now best effective off the bench, he’s quite old now.
At what point will Peet feel the fan pressure? Just asking, I think it’ll come.

| King was involved in most of the tries, unfortunately most of them were for the Robins.

Don't confuse them all with facts.
Gone from 1st/2nd in pre season predictions to relegation fodder in 1 game (some guy on twitter referred to us as this seasons Warrington).

| Good God! I see Wire have won a match. Where were Duckie and co last season. Never heard a peep out them. I'd have thought they'd have learned to leave it at least a month or two into the season before gloating! Ever the optimists hey? Your year again boys?

| King was okay before he signed a big money long-term deal. He's just never been the same since. I was hoping Wane would be the right guy to fix this, especially as King is still contracted to Warrington until the end of 2025 (I think?). A bit unfair to shame Wardle after yesterday - he looks like a proper skilled centre when he gets the chance.
Of course, it's the start of the season and this is just one game. It's totally premature to try and guess how the season will go based on the first round, even if we're all guilty of getting a bit giddy sometimes. Last season Leeds were awful until the last few games, whereas Wigan looked sharp and not far behind Saints. Then we ended up with Saints - Leeds grand final. One thing I will say is that the opening round seemed to be more entertaining than it has in previous years. Some good attacking play and teams looking a bit sharper and better-conditioned (bar Leeds who looked totally unprepared for some reason).

What facts are we talking about here? Those typical, set in stone RL "facts" that someone spews on here and others hold to be gospel?
Now if you want to talk about actual facts and real world examples - Inglis, Cooper, King, Magoulias & Charnley all left Wire during the season last year.
Granted, each had a different situation that was personal to them, but it can be done - especially if said player is OOC for the the following year. I'm sure Charnley jumped, especially knowing he had a further 2 years secured at Leigh.
Now someone would have to pick them up, but we keep getting told how great Miski and Mago are so that shouldn't be a problem right? Or are they duds that no one wants?
