We had a player a few years ago that was tested early one morning at home after a night out ,he was banned even though it was a recreational drug.

Someone told me that a certain club had 2 players caught taking drugs so they put them on the injury list so they cannot be tested. After a month or so they resumed playing.

its the clubs responsibilty to provide help and support in these circumstances to any player that requests it or offer it to players they know are in trouble.

the club cannot police what players do in their own time and nor should they. they are supposadly grown up professional people who should be shwon a certain level of trust. if they abuse that trust then the club should take action as they have done/will do (B sample pending)

until further info is released surrounding this incident, the club have done nothing wrong
