I checked out 5 or 6 videos by them and I really can't see how they are a great band, Nothing more than pop music that will be forgotten as quick as David Gray was. I would rather the RFL had picked a proper band like Church of the Cosmic Skull

They are current and a band that does the festival rota. Young & Northern, I have absolutely no problem with this type being booked for GF entertainment. How many people actually pay attention to the band on a GF night anyway? Moan moan moan.

The only hip hop you’ll find me listening to is the old skool 1990’s NWA, Tupac and Biggie Small’s classics! Other than that give me some indie and rock n roll!

I can tolerate NWA but no other rap or hip hop, Guitar orientated music all the way for me, Psychedelic, Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Classic Metal, Thrash Metal, Hair Metal, Country, Alt, Americana, Folk etc But NEVER EVER Ed Sheeran

Well I can remember the Ozzies getting Tina Turner, who sang 'Simply the best' for their Grand Final.
Not too long after we had Diana Ross at Wembley.
If they have live bands, should they not appeal to all ages that a RL crowd comprises ?
These young 'uns who all think "our new music is the best". You will soon grow out of it. I liked/like Northern Soul [ia la[/i Wigan Casino. But I wouldn't impose my tastes on an audience of the general public.
Just my opinion here. But if the RL are wanting to use this group as an 'highlight' ?
My old dad was born down Miry lane in 1923. He said they used to blare out music by Enrico Caruso in his day, down there in Miry Lane. Now that music is real class.
