As outlandish of a call this might be I think we have a chance to win the LLS, CC and GF.
We now have a squad which is big enough and good enough to win the crunch games and rest key players and still beat the weaker sides of the comp.

I think each 'star' can be rested for at least 3 games throughout the season and we can still win it all.

In putting his name to this obvious attention-seeker of a "report", he is precisely that.

Whatever else he may do, be that in the past as a player or in the future as a pundit, he has just shown his in public on this one.

He posted these predictions to start a debate and get everybody talking.

If however, you had the experience and knowledge of the game that Phil has you might treat it with a bit of respect. Same as if a bloke in the pub down the road offered his views on the middle east you'd laugh but if Barack Obama offered his view you'd listen with respect.

It's possible that some folk on here think a little too much of their own opinion and need to give a little respect to someone who has earned the right.

He may have more experience and knowledge of the game but he isn't foolproof. Didn't he once predict a glittering international career for Ricky Sheriffe? Re respecting his opinion, I certainly didn't call him an idiot or agree with anyone who did. I too have met Mr Clarke on a few occasions and he's obviously an intelligent man.
