Ws very emotional when Lenagan came onto the pich. He stated when he came to the club that it was his dream to walk his home town club onto the Wembley pitch, and know he can do it.

IL is a great businessman and a big fan if the club. put the two together and I think success is inevitable. I do think it came a season earlier than I expected but long may it continue!

He clearly had a big mess to deal with when he first started. Didn't he mention at one of the forums that the club was in a far worse state than he'd anticipated?

But to turn things around so much in - what is it, four years? - is nothing short of amazing.

Looking back on it now, it seems astonishing that he was being dissed for not giving Nobby a new contract. Thank God he had the strength of his convictions and didn't give in to some very loud but very empty vessels.
