were there any injuries picked up last night (prescott?)
will we get any suspensions ? (the fight ?)
who is coming back ? (is faz fit? hock presumably)
are any of the loan players not playng this weekend ?
also the longer term injuries - when is fielden due back ? (roberts ? o'carrol ? i know they wont play in the next week, but just interested when to expect them back)

Fielden should be back for the QF, Eamon around the same time but will probably do a month in the reserves. Amos, well, another few weeks and some games in the reserves to see how his knee holds up.

| think some players might be rested but the break between a friday night and wednesday is 5 days, same amount as break betwen a sunday game and a friday game. Think players might be rested during quins and wakefield to be fresh for cc game

| People are talking about this game as though we are backing up like after the Exiles game. We have a 5 day turn around.... its only like playing on a sunday and then again on a friday night. I think we will be fine.

| Charnley and Joel Tomkins havent been impressive for quite some time. Charnley in particular has looked very shakey defensively in recent weeks and seems to knock on an awful lot in contact. Tomkins is never a centre and lacks the skill and acceleration needed in that position. I think both deserve to be dropped against Cas but have a feeling that just Charnley will make way. I would also like to see Deacon given a rest.

| I'd rest Charnley but just for 1 game, Deacon, Hoffman and Prescott and bring in Goulding, Mellor, Hock and Farrell. I'd then give Carmont the weekend off against Quins.
Team for Cas-
S Tomkins
Goulding
J Tomkins
Carmont
Richards
Finch
Leuluai
Lima
McIlorum
Mossop
Hansen
Farrell
O'Loughlin
Subs
Coley
Hock
Tuson
Mellor
I think Hoffman deserves a little rest to keep him fresh for the coming weeks and Wire inparticular. Also Charnley has had an extended run and has been superb bit theres nothing wrong with letting him freshen up. Our wingers do alot of graft coming out of their own end and that must take plenty of energy.

If Mellor comes in then it must be a straight swap for Deacon. We can't be messing around with the team too much. Leuluai is thriving playing at 9.

Suppose you're right about that, there would be less messing about with the team and Tommy is playing well at 9. So switch Mellor to 7, Tommy to 9 and McIllorum to the bench. I just feel with 3 games in 8 days the squad needs rotating to keep players fresh.

| I wouldnt rest anyone. We go with our strongest available team. If that means preccy is unavailable then he may need to sit it out and hock play prop
