Just a shame though, he would have probably got a game last season if it wasn't for his injury, it has held him back quite a bit.
He looked unbeliebable against Leeds reserves away.

It's beneficial to both parties. Our youngsters get play at a level above the U20's and Widnes get to use some talented and enthusiastic players who are keen to make an impression and show what they can do |

To be honest im not particularly in favour of bringing them in but I think the club are just using them to paper over cracks and tie us over until the end of the year. |

Spot on, I think. Understandably, this year's performances shouldn't bother you too much, all the emphasis should be towards building for next year. Looking forward to having you back where you belong! |

they have only just gone to these clubs brains  so we ll see in a few week if they improve or not |

To be fair, we shouldn't expect three Wigan U20's players to make a huge difference to an NL1 squad, as they are playing up a level anyway.
And allied to the fact the only Widnes player who's got an SL contract next year is Ben Kavanagh (Wigan Academy) it shows Widnes are taking advantage of taking time to get the right players in for next year.
They don't have to get to a final, so they are probably just laying the foundations for SL.
