As for us, we were dreadful. Its utter stupidity throwing Finch into a game which is potentially the biggest we will have all season. Im abit concerned about us going forward aswell, we don't look threatening at all when we get it out wide. The sooner Richards is back the better. The ref had a shocker but I don't think it would of changed the result... we got what we deserved, absolutely nothing.

I thought Warrington were on top form and looked superb..we looked jaded and tbh our backline isn't much cop at the moment. That doesn't excuse the poor plays and lost ball that took me back a few years to the Noble era. Overall well done Warrington and shape up Wigan as i'm sure we will.

Quite a few issues. Finch looked off the pace and unfamiliar with a few set pieces, this will improve in time, it was a VERY difficult game for him to debut in.
Predictable set pieces, Wire had everyone scouted, hats off to Tony Smith.
Lack of structure, already we've had several combos in the halves this season, moving players around so frequently caused issues.

No impact from the centres, we need an experienced centre to help outwide, currently we have one centre (Carmont) who's worthy.

I could go on...

Whilst we are far from playing anything that resembles good rugby, I don't ever recall any game as being 'easy' this season in SL.

Look at the results from the first 6 rounds and you will see plenty of 'easy' 2 point games gone the other way.....HTH

Outplayed tonight but it's only 2 points we have still players to come back and we will get stronger later in the season, -keep the faith-

Wire totaly desereved their win but that wasn't the Wigan team of the last few weeks or last season. That is what you call a hickup or a trough. Chins up pies.

All very well winning tonight. But i would rather that had been a chilly night at Old Trafford.......that's when it really matters.

Warrington deserved their win ,We were poor in attack, Alibert was awful (but we would have still lost whoever was refffing), the positives to take from tonight are 1,we have some major players to return(Richards, deacon, Fielden , Joel, Faz), 2. we lost 5 last year (i think) and we are still unbeaten away for over a year,... it is up to the team to respond to this loss and prove we want to hold onto the SL trophy for another year

well played to warrington,they beat us playing in the wigan way,hard tough and turned us round in every tackle,finch shouldnt have played in this game,too intense for a debut,but saw glimpses in his back play that he could be something special when he's up to speed.warrington are now the team to beat and i've got a feeling that could work in our favour long term

Banter aside, three of our tries all came down attacking a young, talented kid where pat Richards would have been. The Wigan pack was bullied again like last year and didn't give your skill players a platform. It'll be close between us, good luck for the rest of the season.

Yes, certainly the worst performance of Maguire's reign.

Im not saying fear us but I am saying don't be so naive to under estimate us.
