39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| He is so irritating and more one sided to saints than Phil Clarke is to Wigan.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

Agree with that, thought he was well over 70!! By contrast, I think Stevo is still doing a grand job for a 62 year old, even if he does talk

| Tell you what, we know how to bag a fella on these boards. Yeah, course its like listening to your grandad with this "in my day" stuff but personally I don't think he talks any more or less crap than Stevo.
Challenge Cup commentry won't be quite the same without him, though I have to admit it will probably be better, but does he really deserve a character assassination and jubilant flag waving?

Probably not but he has gone on at least 5 years too long and that's being generous.
No problem with Woods but Jonathan Davies should go from commentary as well for me with Brian Carney coming in.

Definitely - Davies talked about Cameron Phillips and called Tommy 'Loo Lie' all the time. His favourite word is 'crooshall' - every move is 'crooshall' and he really needs to get his act together. Brian Carney would do a far better job than him.

I agree completly. He clearly has no time for the game, who wants to listen to
"this guy passes to this fella over here on the winger, and he runs here, does a little dummy and scores the try. This bloke should have tackled him"

| I love the part where they ask him about his favourite finals. Surprise surprise they were both Saints wins. He was hardly going to go for 1989 was he? The biased get!

| Thank god. Just need to get rid of Eddie Hemmings now. Kinsella would be a good shout for commentator on Sky, great knowledge of the game.

| i also said on friday that at 14-0 up Salford were far from safe so i got one right at least - but
Its all about opinion and
Youre right Bilko i did think Saints would win and am happy to say that Hudds proved me completely wrong ,
you have to take your hat off to the giants - tremendous performance- not many teams could survived that 2nd half onslaught and i hope from their point of view they get the level of support that they deserve
Brett Hodgson - fantastic display - any young Full back out should get a copy of that performance and study it - Masterclass in all aspects

| No , just saying im happy to be proved wrong by a side who put in a top class display,
ive never had an affiliation with any club - i keep telling people that but so far ive been told i support at least 4 different current SL clubs plus Widnes from the Championship
Should be a great occasion in 3 weeks time and its fantastic for both clubs - and this time i will sit on the fence as to who will win on the day

| Im gonna miss big ray, he is useless, but he does make me laugh.
However was anyone else as confused as me at Nobby trying to explain the obstruction/crossing rule. I knew the rule before he started and still didnt get what he was talking about lol.
However that may explain a few things!
