Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds
Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0[/color:1fnfdzuc]
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

| I'd go with the same team as last week minus Pryce, I'd rather have Flannagan on the bench as I feel he'll offer us more, depending on whether Gleeson's fit I might start with Goulding and have Gleeson on the bench but we'll see.
This is must win game, listened to the Bulls game yesterday and to describe them as poor would perhaps be a compliment, if we can get into a lead and build on it the Bulls will crumble, they tend to have a good period in a match so if we can come through that on level terms or better the win's are's. But it'll still be tough so every player must turn up with there heads screwed on properly.

But we'll also crumble if we get a lead, so tails you win heads we lose.
Nothing other than a Wigan win this one if your lads approach it with the right attitude, confidence in the Bradford team and on the terracing is zero at the moment. Hope Im wrong, but I dont think so.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

Is he not to slow for 6, or could he just about do it, either way I agree we should at least let the lad have a chance at playing 6 and judge him from there.

We have enough pace in the halves with Sam. He has played in the forwards alot so with a good off season he could be ready to play 6. He could work on his agility.

I wouldn't see him as a long term 6 but he could certainly do a job there. When he's played there in the Reserves he's been creative and organised well. While it is a different world in the first team I believe he could handle the pressure.

But would he be allowed to play his natural game or would the coaching staff tell him to keep it basic?

Your probably right if the club put him on a specific training regime then he may improve his speed and agility but with are conditioning I have my doubts, but that for the other thread. I must admit, although I very rarely get to reserve games his physical shape reminds me very much of Ratchford at Salford, perhaps a little heavier than Stephan but certainly very similar. Either way if the club has the foresight to plan ahead with means to playing Flannagan at 6 in the longterm, then with the right training and coaching I would have thought it would highly achievable.

We need to try him there this season though to see if he does a good job while he can get in the team.

Oh absolutely, I'm just stating that were Flanagan to come into the first team and make a success of it, then we could perhaps turn him into a six. As we all know with the competition in the backrow it's unlikely we could keep them all, but through training Mark into a 6 we possibly could.
