| Tough question!
If i had to go simply on who i enjoyed watching though, it would beLittle man, Massive heart[/i
Frano Botica - [iThe master goal-kicking machine[/i
Shaun Edwards - [i100% Warrior. 'Nuff said?[/i
Brett Dallas - [iSheer class on the wing[/i
Tuigamala - [iNice guy off the pitch. An utter beast on it![/i
Yeah...Would happily see all 5 in our current side.

| I will instantly dismiss anyone who doesn't have Hanley in their list, young poster or old!

Bell, Farrell, Gregory, Miles etc could have quite easily made that five.

| Faz,
Edwards,
Robinson
Cassidy
Newton
The last two aren’t the greatest of all time especially Cassidy but I still thought he was quality.
Very hard to leave off Rads, Bell, Offiah, Inga, Cowie and Skerrett.

| This is impossible if you have been watching Wigan since the 50's, as I have, and a few others on this board also have.

Is that because those people's memories aren't what they used to be?

"I have this system where I support England first, then the other Home Nations, then the rest of the Commonwealth, then the rest of the World, then France.": |
|
| Betts
Hanley
Edwards
Radlinski
Smith (Tony)
Before everyone slates me for picking Tony Smith, it did say favourite players. He wasn't really the player we needed, not being much of an organising halfback, but I just liked watching him. Strikes me that he would actually probably do better in today's Super League, with his greyhound-like pace, eye for the try line and support play - kind of a forerunner of Danny McGuire.

Fairbairn, Miles, Kenny, Ferguson, Farrell, Gregory and Alan Davies deserve a mention.
My dad thought Jim mSullivan was pretty exceptional.
