I for one would not want to be buying stuff before a game and trying to keep it in good order during the game.

Considering it's for matchday use only it's a great idea, much better than selling from a caravan.

Think the shop is a good idea - honestly, people on here will moan about anything! How can any retail outlet that earns money for the club be a bad thing? And whilst a club shop in the centre of town would be nice for those of us who live in Wigan, don't forget that we have an awful lot of fans travelling from outside town to matches, half of whom have probably never even been into Wigan town centre, do not wish to or can't get there easily.

good idea imo , as long as whelans getting nowt out of the deal
