I wish I shared your optimism about getting to the right end of the field. We were at the right end of the field most of the match on Maundy Thursday, but we still couldn't score because we were too slow and devoid of imagination. That said, Saints defence was immense.
I hope it's different this time. |

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

Best ref by a mile and the fact everybody knows he is a Stains fan will mean he'll bend over backwards to be seen to be neutral.

I can't believe i'm disagreeing with you on this one but........
Why put the bloke in that position.?
He gives everything to Stains=That's because he a Stains fan. He gives everything to Wigan=That's because he's bending over backward's to show he's neutral. A ref's job is hard enough without that added pressure.

Doesn't matter who the ref is really. We've only "won" the penalty count twice this season so we are own worst enemies in that department.
