Just to help you out here because you are obviously struggling a little to understand.

He thought the first contact was shoulder, Therefore he gave MMc the benefit of the doubt and just gave a penalty. Not over exaggerating at all? he tackled a player high by the outcome clearly but if he hadn't hurt dixon like the other countless high tackles i doubt anything would of come from this.

I do think McIlorum needs to change his technique because he does whack players with his arms a lot i think he needs to learn to do it with the should and he shouldn't be caught tackling a player high as much.

Much like anything in life, the actual incident is up for interpretation. And there is enough evidence [or lack thereof] to fit anybodies agenda. If you think McIllorum is a thug, then he deliberately went in to hurt Dixon. If you're a Wigan fan you can see the play falls into the tackle, and therefor was hit high.

Go back through all my posts on this sort of incident, and I'll always say let the review panel sort it out. You see I don't believe they are prejudiced, be it for or against any club.

I'm just happy that MM was not injured when he was fallen on!!!

McCollum looks to put something on someone just about every tackle.
He's a common thug. Deal with it. Whether he meant to or not this time it's luck he hasn't done this a few times.
Just about every team has one it's unfortunate McIlorum is just about the most odious one in the league. Sly and cowardly.
I don't get your fans obsession with him he's a liability.

If you spelt his name correct it may add weight to your claim. so your problem with him is he looks for a big shot every tackle? also you need to learn what a coward is i have never seen him back down from any one and many of them are a lot bigger.

Just a few points from your rant. How would you define a "common thug"? Wouldn't it be someone who is constantly in trouble outside the game as well in order to deserve the epithet?

Secondly, you call him sly and cowardly. I would have thought that would belong to someone who does stuff behind the refs back not in full view of everyone. Perhaps you need to think again about your choice of insults.

Our obsession with him stems from his faultless performances in the playoffs last season when he outplayed Lunt Burrow Higham and Monaghan earning himself England recognition as well as the double. As has been noted earlier he kept his nose clean pretty much all season and proved himself one of the best hookers in the competition.

Really. He nearly soiled his shorts when Mickey Paea took issue with his attempted elbow last year at your place. Most players laugh at his pathetic antics. Which Paea did when the colour drained from Mr McIlorum's face.
