You may be surprised to hear that the one time Leeds have had Clubcall, they chose the lowest ranked team.

Yes but no team has ever not picked the lowest placed team in clubcall, and Huddersfield have clearly had the better of Leeds in all three meetings this season, whereas Leeds would have beaten Wire in week 1 of the play offs and once during the regular season. I agree Leeds will pick their form up in the play offs but there's no way I could see them picking Huddersfield over Wire in those circumstances, I can't even see why you think they would to be honest

Think you might need to explain that a little more for it to make any sense whatsoever.

to be fair he did say may be, however on top of all the logical arguements against this, Wigan would also play an extra match, and with our injuries and potential suspensions its highly unlikely losing is better.
Question: would it be better for Leeds or the Wires to lose - ignoring the extra match? I cant see it but maybe someone can?

| If we win tomorrow, it will guarantee us a home tie in the semis, therefore Leeds / Warrington couldn't select us as you can't be done out of a home tie (even though we could be the lowest place team).
That's my reading of it, comments?

Isnt that why we couldnt pick Warrington last year because they won their semi?

Yes, the team with the club call only get a choice of two, the two teams who win in the knockout games played next week

They couldn't select us but they could select Hudds therefore sending the other to us.

Warrington lost their first game last year to St Helens. But won the next. So the choice then was Warrington or Leeds.

We bow to your magnificence.
Another question for you, which year was it when we got to the grand final and Adrian Lam was injured in the play offs, or was it the semi? I got this feeling that the same thing is going to happen but its Lockers who may play a part of getting us into the final but not play in it, and we will go down bravely to a Yorkshire side. The crystal ball goes mysty after that.

Lam missed 7 of the 10 matches unbeaten under Mike Gregory which led us to the 2003 Grand Final. Stand Off for all those games was Sean O'Loughlin with Luke Robinson replacing Lam in the 7 matches. The Grand Final was lost to Bradford.
We never had a proper Stand Off all that campaign after Julian O'Neill was released early. O'Loughlin and Nick Graham played six in spells with solo stand off appearances for Paul Johnson and a very young Kevin Brown.
Was a great season that one and the sacking of Stuart Raper was a total disgrace!

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |
