Well, well, well. Was out last night so got up early and just finished watching.
Thought wire would win easy, after all we're constantly told how superb they are on here.

Maybe they should have picked us and smashed 60 past us as was suggested on their board after all.

Didn't think it was that great of a game. Wire lacked composure and Leeds too. High intensity but several errors. Sky did their usual sensationalism to rave on about it but it wasn't great IMO.

George Carmont would never has missed Brent Webb like Bridge did. But hey he shouldn't even be in the dream team cos he doesn't play for wire.

I think their were a few reasons why it was agreat game.

Wire and most of SL thought they were going to walk it.
Their were plenty of handling errors
Ganson yet again loves to get involved in the game he sometimes forgets he is just the ref

Dont care if saints beat us now.....the fact that those arrogant s wont be going to old trafford is the highlight of the year!!!. Their entertanining attractive rugby didnt look that good last night did it? Their season will be remembered for all the deluded comments thinking their the best team in the world because they beat lesser teams by big margains!!! It's why I'm so suprised warrington picked leeds and their fans didn't have any element of fear, almost disrespectful.

It wasn't always this way but here you have a team who have built up a legacy of being one of the better teams in the playoffs, by making and winning grand finals, they were coming back into form, and warrington seemed to think all they had to do was turn up.

This will serve as the harshest, maybe most cruelest of lessons.

Sport doesn't care about the fancy rugby you played in may, or the 10 tries you scored against cas 6 months ago or whatever. When it comes to that game, that one game to make the grand final it will be bloody tough no matter who you play and if you don't have the metal, you won't win.
